Despite his clown-like appearance, his height definitely helps with his scary fighting moves. He’s like a wild card who doesn’t have any emotion besides fun and dull.
This bad boy can commit genocide without any remorse. His cold careless nature, murderous intent and physical capabilities make him praise worthy antagonist of Hunter X Hunters series.

On the next spot, we have humanity’s most powerful creature “Yujiro Hanma” who puts fear in his rivals with a gigantic physique of 6’3″.
With his huge height comes major strength – this guy is an absolute powerhouse. I can only imagine how frightening it would be to stand across the ring from someone his size.
Apart from killer body, this huge antagonist possesses a sharp intellect which makes him even more dreadful in combat. He’s the father of the main protagonist “Baki” also his mentor.
10: Alucard
Anime: Hellsing
Now enters the main character from classic vampire anime “Alucard” who is a nearly custom-tailored prodigy with glowing orange eyes and a towering height of 6’4″.
But it’s not just his height that’s frightening – this vampire is near impossible to kill with insane powers of regeneration. He may seem calm and collected most of the time but I wouldn’t want to piss him off.
Between his towering frame, immortal status, and devastating abilities, Alucard is definitely the most powerful force in Hellsing. While he may seem scary and mysterious, underneath he’s really loyal to protecting others.
9: Takeo Gouda

Sometimes blessings can become hassles, just like the case of Takeo Gouda whose 6’7″ tall structure is enough to scare any pretty girl.
But despite his intimidating size, he’s actually one of the gentlest souls out there. Always putting others before himself, he’s loyal to a fault and eager to help friends in need.
Even though he looks like he could dominate on the basketball court with that vertical, he’d rather indulge his sweets-loving nature. Takeo may be huge, but it’s his warm and caring personality that makes him truly stand out in My Love Story.

Who do you think I was going to include from the JJK character list? Gojo? Doing justice with this list of tall anime characters I have picked up the tallest anime character from JJK Panda with 6’7″.
Panda is a major supporting character in Jujutsu Kaisen season 1. Even though his name is Panda and he looks like one but he isn’t. He’s an Abrupt-Mutation Cursed Corpse.
Panda is a semi-grade 2 sorcerer and the tallest character in JJK fandom. He’s a calm and upbeat character but never dares to piss him off because he possesses extraordinary physical abilities enough to beat the crap out of anyone.
7: Elias Ainsworth
Anime: The Ancient Magus Bride
Any slave would be frightened to death if they thought that Elias, who is 6’7″ tall, would be their master. Obviously, this skeleton-head dude looks damn scary.
He’s a terrifying Mage and i am not sure know how old, but since he doesn’t click with humans’ emotions, he’s curious to study a lot of people.
He may seem scary at first glance due to his size, but it doesn’t take long to see the compassion in his eyes. Elias proves that with great height comes a great heart.
He’s the main protagonist of “The Ancient Magus Bride Series” who buys Chise Hatori to learn more about human emotions and eventually falls in love.
6: Atsushi Murasakibara

At an intimidating height of 6’10”, Atsushi Murasakibara towers over his opponents both physically and in playing ability.
With his gigantic stature and overwhelming presence underneath the basket, opponents find it impossible to match up against his size. Don’t let his lazy demeanor and disinterested facial expressions fool you though.
Once on the court, Murasakibara transforms into an unstoppable force with quick jumps and long arms that cover the entire paint like a giant curtain.
While seeming aloof at first, Murasakibara’s dominance in the key has helped lead his team to victory against the odds time and again.
5: Gyomei Himejima

If you’re new to Demon Slayer, you would be thinking, who is this tall bind crybaby Hashira who always weeps? But boy let me tell you, he’s the strongest among all Hashiras.
Gyomei is a massive Demon Slayer. He is one of the series’ tallest characters, towering over his fellow Hashira. He has a tremendous physique and is highly muscular.
Despite his intimidating appearance, he’s a softie from the inside and is usually found offering prayers with fixed hands. I don’t wanna spoil but my tall boy is going to take down one massive antagonist of the series. The time will tell!
4: Maine
Anime: Cyberpunk Edgerunners
As an ex-military officer and now a veteran edge runner in Night City, Maine stand tall and prefer friendship over glory. At a staggering 7’4″, Maine towers over everyone he encounters in Night City.
While his massive size and customized chrome allow him to handle any threat, Maine prefers using his abilities to help others. As the muscle and engineer of the Edgerunners crew, he keeps them safe with his skills and strength.
Despite the risks of his job, Maine’s priority is always protecting his friends. Whether lifting collapsed debris or shielding allies from gunfire with his own body, Maine selflessly puts himself in harm’s way.
3: Ryuk
Anime: Death Note
Despite being 7’6″ tall, no one can see Ryuk “the owner of Death Note.” Do you know why he has dropped Death Note on Earth? Not because he has some master plan to follow, he did it all because the dude was bored.
He is a shinigami who takes an interest in Light because Light was the only one to find loopholes in Death Note that even Ryuk was not aware of.
Where normal people are addicted to alcohol and other drugs, this tall slim Shinigami craves to eat apples and play video games.
2: Thorkell
Anime: Vinland Saga
Besides Thorfinn, nobody, literally nobody can dare to challenge this monstrously tall anime character Thorkell. This 7’7″ giant fights in wars like a regular hobby.
He’s the former commander of Jomsvikings and now fights under the command of Canute not because he has some special reason, but just because he found this side interesting to fight.
He uses his giant physique and monstrous strength to throw giant trees like Javelin. If somebody got a direct hit from his fist, he’s done for. Thorkell is truly one of the best fearsome tall anime characters anyone would love to witness.
1: Broly
Anime: Dragon Ball
I bet there would be more anime characters taller than Broly but he’s iconic with scars. He’s one of the rarest legendary Saiyans who happens to be born once in a thousand years.
With a 9’0″ tall build, he can kick ass anybody, no matter how powerful is his adversary. He has been shown as an antagonist in the Broly Triple Threat trilogy.
Broly is a dual personality person who seems calm and collected one moment and totally pissed off gorilla in another moment. He’s truly binge worthy among all tall anime characters.
